Buying

If you're buying a new car, the advantages boil down to less worry about your vehicle's condition because you eventually have full ownership of your auto. Want to upgrade your exterior with a spoiler or add a rear-seat entertainment system? You can do so six weeks or six years after you buy your Kia. The Kia factory warranty covers major repairs. When your auto loan is paid off, you get your title, lien release, or a letter notifying you that your lien has been released, and you can use that vehicle as a trade-in toward a new Kia. However, since there's no mileage restriction when buying a Kia, a vehicle with high mileage can have lower resale or trade-in value. Also, the loan contract can last anywhere from 24 months to 72 months with a payment that is usually higher than a lease payment.

Leasing

If you prefer having a new car every two or three years, leasing a new Kia could be a good option for you. The payments are usually lower than that of a purchased auto because you're paying for only the portion of the vehicle you will use during the lease, and a lower down payment, or none at all, might be a possibility. You'll also have a factory warranty to cover major repairs, but you can add only approved accessories and only when your lease begins. Your lease contract length can last from 24 to 48 months ‐ at the end of which you can purchase the vehicle or return it to our dealership. A downside of leasing a new Kia could involve mileage. You must determine the amount of miles you plan to drive during the lease before you sign the contract. Any mileage overage could result in charges.
